POWER CLOUD
The poster & 4 pleasure analysis
The mood board
POWER CLOUD's target market is young office ladies. This group of young women is new to office life, apart from work, they have to to hang out with friends, spend time with family, may still have to study, or some may already have kids to take care. So they are a group thats quite stressful and lack of sleep. POWER CLOUD is a cushion different from others, specially designed for this group of young office ladies to have some quality sleep during their break time.
Theres a pocket at the back of the cushion for you to put your hand in to sleep with. With this, when you're deep in sleep, you cushion won't slip out of your hand. Yet, give you a better support. Moreover, inside the pocket, the top layer is fluffier that the botton. Cause when you're asleep, you hand might sweat. Sweaty hands and fluffy fabric just dont match, do they? The spiral shape at the front of the cushion is made of very soft, cotton fabric. Also, the spiral shape is designed to support your neck comfortablly. It forms a nest shape, that makes you want to put your head on it whenever you see it.

  1. This product was indeed very functional and rests the head comfortably inside this nurturing donut shape. It was tactilely pleasurable and was sewed together very amazing to look like the final product. However, the only point that let the product down was the fact that it did not look like a product that belongs in an office and the size of it would be impractical to carry from home to the office. Improvements maybe sizing it down, change the colour scheme, or design in a way so that you wont get caught by your boss when you're sleeping.

  2. i love this idea so much.i feel awful when i need to sleep in the airplane beacause that i could not sleep without the pillow.i m pretty sure yours "power cloud" could be comfortable. But i m not sure is it better if it could be more portable. In that way, people are more easy to carry it in the plane ,trian and so on.

  3. As someone who is guilty of falling asleep during the day I really embrace your product idea, I think it is an ingeniously convenient way to catch up on some much needed Z's. I also agree with my peers' above comments on the matter of portability - in terms of the size of the cushion I think it's fine the way it is as it seems you've ergonomically designed it to meld with the contours of the human head and neck to sustain comfort for the user so I don't believe it could be smaller but perhaps making the product collapsible such as converting it into an inflatable device so it is compact to carry around may be an interesting suggestion. It is fairly noticeable but I'm sure buyers would use the cushion at appropriate times e.g. on their breaks or on long transport journeys. It's definitely a great accessory for the young sleep-deprived go-getters of your target market, so overall a very thoughtful and handy product!

For the real product I think you can make it colourful.

  5. I love the design and idea. I reckon that it's very functional and the look of it really creates the feeling of the warmth. Little pouch where the had slides in is also very cute. Maybe the improvement could be on sizing it down so that it's portable or could be used in trains.
